The 10-part series will see the duo solving a different crime in each episode.
THE highly-awaited crime drama, The Mallorca Files, will premiere on BBC1 on Monday, November 25. The new daytime series centres upon the relationship between two police officers played by Elen Ryhys and Julian Looman who have very different approaches to policing. Rhys plays an introverted Brit, whilst Looman stars as a classic extrovert who is unashamedly unconventional. The 10-part series will see the duo solving a different crime in each of the 45-minute episodes, which plays out against the backdrop of sun-drenched locations across the island, including Palma, Pollensa and Soller. Filming began for the drama in November of last year and brings together a high-calibre production team led by Dan Sefton, who has penned hits such as The Good Karma Hospital and Porters. The Mallorca Files will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer on the first day of its transmission, brightening up living rooms across the nation.
