LIFESAVING RESOURCE: Two of the defibrillators go to the Local Police and one to Civil Protection. CREDIT: Ayuntamiento de Calp
THE Calp Tienda de Caridad has made a heartfelt donation to the local council. The charity shop has given the local authority four defibrillators, which allow for administering immediate attention in the event of cases of cardiac arrest. Two are destined for the Local Police, a welcome addition to the force’s resources given that officers are often the first on the scene in emergencies. One of the defibrillators will be kept at the station and the other will be in one of the Local Police vehicles. Another defibrillator goes to the local Civil Protection for their vehicle and the fourth will be located in the Town Hall. The local authority already has defibrillators in the Civil Centre and in all the municipal sports facilities. See more Costa Blanca South News
