Major marijuana bust in El Ejido

TWO people are under arrest after Guardia Civil found more than 2,300 marijuana plants in an El Ejido greenhouse.
Guardia officers surprised the pair inside the greenhouse working on tending the illegal cultivation.
The Guardia identified the location of the nearly 1,000sqm hothouse following a detailed investigation launched on the back of different information sources indicating there was a marijuana plantation in the Matagorda district of the municipality.
The two detainees, identified as 31-year old D.B. and 28-year old F.S., face charges of cultivating and producing drugs.
