Marbella Local Police Receive Tribute from Town Mayor
The Honourable Mayor of Marbella highlights, on National Police Day, the close cooperation between security forces to ensure that Marbella remains a safe city
The Mayor shared data provided by the police commissioner of Marbella which reflects a further decline of criminal offences this year in the municipality. During an official ceremony on October 2, Day of the Local Police 2019.- The Honourable Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, congratulated the local police who received recognition for their outstanding duties. A tribute extended to all the staff “for the work done daily to maintain good results year after year.
Infractions in the city have lowered 0.06 percent, “figures similar to last year despite the increase in the arrival of visitors to the city. “This shows us that Marbella is still a safe place, where you can walk quietly and enjoy its many attractions, in addition to continuing to be a global tourist attraction,” said Lamelas, town commissioner.
The events celebrating the feast of the Patron Saint of the Local Police completed with the inauguration of a statue of the Guardian Angel this morning next to the Police Station.
