BENIDORM’S Film Office attended the 67th edition of the San Sebastian film festival.
Its representatives took part in the presentation of the “Valencian Community as a Film Set” project at the Basque city’s Keler hall.
Production companies and representatives from the Spanish audio-visual firms were also present at the introduction of a new web page detailing the Valencian Community’s attractions and advantages as a location for films, videos and advertising spots.
Together with Luis Tormo from the Valencian Tourist Board and Giovanna Ribes, president of the Productor Audiovisuals Valencians, Rosa Llorca and Pepa Jorda explained the services provided by the Benidorm and Valencia City film offices, the most active in the Valencian Community.
Llorca stressed the importance of Benidorm’s Film Office, which offers free municipal services to the film industry.
The number of film, television and advertising companies using Benidorm as a location has continued to grow since the office was created in 2013, Llorca pointed out, boosting the local economy and providing unbeatable – and free – publicity for the resort.
