Young boy dies in Magaluf

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy has tragically passed away in Magaluf after complaining of stomach pains. The young boy and his family were staying at the Sol Barbados Hotel for their holiday when the boy became violently ill and collapsed before going into cardiac arrest.

Emergency services managed to revive the boy on the scene before rushing him to Son Espases Hospital in Palma with a police escort. It has been announced that the young boy tragically died the same day at the hospital. No cause of death has been announced but the boy’s death is not being treated as suspicious. Officials have not confirmed if a routine court investigation has been launched, which would be normal practice where a child has died.
