FURIOUS passengers on Brussels Airlines flight SN3766 from Palma to Brussels were left stranded in Palma on Saturday.
It was announced that the 5.20pm flight was cancelled due to a problem with one of the wings of the Airbus A320 that was going to take too much time to repair.
Some 180 passengers were reportedly left without food or drinks whilst waiting for updates at the airport and had to wait over an hour and a half to retrieve their luggage from the plane.
They were eventually shuttled to a nearby hotel at 10pm. An alternative flight was chartered to transport the passengers to Brussels on Sunday morning and the damaged aircraft returned empty to Brussels shortly after.
