A WILDFIRE has broken out this afternoon in the La Cala Hills in Mijas.
The Infoca firefighting service is on the scene, and there are two helicopters dumping water on the fire to try and douse the blaze before it spreads.
Meanwhile, photos uploaded onto social media show horses on the streets trying to get away from the fire.
There are also reports a second fire has broken out in Las Lagunas in Fuengirola.
