The Spanish king was inducted into the Order during a state visit to Britain in July 2017.
The Order of the Garter is a group of people knighted and initiated into an order of chivalry dating back to the Middle Ages.
Former prime ministers including Sir John Major and ex-high ranking military personnel are among its members.
