Brit tourist dies in Magaluf balcony fall

A British tourist aged 20 has died after he fell from a second-floor balcony in Magaluf.

He was found lying on the ground in a critical condition at about 3am this morning (June 7).

Medics gave him immediate aid, but he died at the scene. Police had to wake up the victim’s friends to tell them what had happened. He had been staying with them at a hotel called the Wave House.

Police have confirmed the dead man is a British 20-year-old and say they are investigating the incident.

He is the first Briton to die from a balcony fall in Mallorca this year, although in the past week there have been three other incidents.

An 18-year-old Swedish man was critically injured after plunging two floors on May 31, while a British man, aged 19, escaped with a broken ankle after an eight-metre fall in Punta Ballena on Wednesday.

Last night (June 6) A 35-year-old German man was badly hurt after falling from a second-floor balcony.

Last weekend Colin McGarry, aged 48, was killed when he fell from a balcony in Benidorm
