Police control at airport and ports to prevent murdered woman’s son from fleeing Spanish island

PALMA airport and ports in Mallorca are being controlled by the National Police to prevent a teenager from fleeing the island.

The body of Gloria Francisca Zavala, murdered in the Arenal, was found wrapped in plastic in the garage of a house.

Police are reportedly trying to avoid her 16-year-old son’s departure from Mallorca.

The Homicide Group also want to speak to the teen’s girlfriend who reportedly had a bad relationship with the victim.

Further results are waiting to be received from the post-mortem.
