Homeowner shot dead by armed robbers in south of Spain

A HOMEOWNER in the south of Spain has been shot dead by a group of alleged thieves in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Emergency services were alerted to the incident in Mula (Murcia) at 2.30am.

Paramedics were only able to certify the death of the middle-aged victim from a gunshot wound.

Guardia Civil police have opened an investigation.
