SPANISH police officers have arrested 20 people belonging to a criminal organisation dedicated to the sale and distribution of cocaine and tucibi which is also known as “Pink Panther”.
The Guardia Civil’s Operation Benas raids resulted in the seizure of more than 30 kilos of cocaine, 1.5 kilos of tucibi, 600 grams of hashish pollen and 1 kilogram of marijuana.
The police raids led to the arrest of 20 people (16 men and four women aged between 25 and 64 years-old), in the provinces of Madrid, Guadalajara, Burgos and Huesca.
More than €20,000 in cash, a fake gun, computer, 44 mobile phones and eight vehicles were seized in 15 raids and seven points of sale of the drugs were broken up.
Tucibi is often called the “elite drug” because of its high price but it has other names as well, like Venus, Erox, Nexus, MFT and pink cocaine. Its original English name is 2C-B and when Spanish speakers adapted the name, it became Tu-Ci-Bi.
