IN PICS AND VIDEO – Spain’s WINTER WONDERLAND in APRIL!

AMAZING video and photographs of snowfall in the south of Spain at the weekend have gone viral. Images show vehicles buried under feet of snow and roads cut off.

Although you would expect a good covering of the white stuff on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada near Granada in Andalucia during the winter it’s pretty unusual in the month of April.

The freezing, wintery conditions in the ski resort were captured by the Ski and Do ski and snowboard school in Monachil- as much of the rest of the country shivered too.

On Friday the freak weather caused a massive multi-vehicle smash near Spain’s capital Madrid that left more than 40 people injured.
