A BEACH club on the Costa del Sol which was a favourite haunt for celebrities burned down after a fire broke out there yesterday evening (Monday).
Investigators have begun probing the cause of the fire at the Playa Padre club in Marbella. The club opened in May 2017 with a star-studded event featuring Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and went onto host celebrities including actor Eva Longoria and reality TV personality Ashley James.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire after it began at around 7pm. The club was closed at the time and no one is thought to have been injured in the blaze.
Firefighters were later able to bring the blaze under control. Videos posted to social media showed the building engulfed in flames.
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
