FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an industrial estate in the Valencia Region this afternoon (Monday) after a fire broke out at a decorating company’s premises on a local industrial estate.
Emergency services said they were alerted to the fire, which broke out on the Cova industrial estate in Manises, at around 1.15pm. The town is home to Valencia’s airport.
Medical personnel treat three workers for smoke inhalation, with two of them aged 41 and 51 taken to the Intermutual Hospital of Levante.
A total of 22 firefighters from several nearby stations were called out.
Reportedly, the fire is still not under control and is extending.
