FIVE firefighters have been injured in a road crash while on their way to put out a chimney fire yesterday (Tuesday) evening. The fire engine overturned on the NA-4101 and all the injured were taken to hospital in Navarra. They were responding to a 112 emergency call to a chimney fire in Beunza (Atetz) when the vehicle crashed. None of the injuries is described as serious. The chimney fire was safely extinguished by another crew. Only recently a firefighter lost his life while on call dealing with flooding incidents in the south of Spain
