TWO electronics stores have been targeted in ram raid attacks on the Costa del Sol – and police have not ruled a link between the incidents. The National Police are investigating the robberies on the Worten store at the La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella and then a Movistar mobile phone store in Estepona. The first incident was reported at about 2.30 am after an all-terrain vehicle smashed through the security shutters of the electrical appliance store. Shortly afterwards, there was another ram raid attack on a mobile phone store in the historic centre of Estepona with a different vehicle. Police have not ruled a connection between the two attacks as a black Audi SUV was reported to have been at the scene of both incidents. The value of goods stolen has not yet been revealed.
