A CAR driver has been injured after three horses escaped from a farm and caused a multiple crash on the busy A-7 motorway in Andalucia in the south of Spain.
The horses were described as seriously injured after invading the A-7 motorway in Roquetas de Mar (Almeria) in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Three vehicles were involved in the accident at about 6.30am but only one driver needed hospital treatment at the Hospital Torrecárdenas de Almería.

A video posted on Twitter showed the three animals wandering in the middle of the carriageway.
Police were alerted to the danger by motorists travelling on the Mediterranean Highway.
Initial investigations suggest the animals escaped from a private farm located nearby. The exact nature of their injuries isn’t known.
