ONE person has died and five were injured – two seriously – after a collision between a car and an ambulance in the south of Spain. Prior to the accident, the 112 Andalucia emergency control centre said that they had received calls and alerted the Guardia Civil police to a car that was reported to be ‘lurching along the road without lights on’. The accident happened last night (Tuesday) at 7.53pm on the A-92 motorway in Huétor-Santillan in the Granada province of Andalucia. Emergency services say the victim was travelling in the car and the rest of the injured in the ambulance.
