A FORESTRY worker in Spain has been seriously injured and air-lifted to hospital by air ambulance after his chainsaw ‘exploded’ and it set fire to a woodland area. According to the emergency services the 28-year-old man was clearing an area in the Monte Faro area of Noalla in Galicia, northern Span when the accident happened. The young man was taken by road ambulance to the football field in Baltar, from where he was air-lifted by helicopter to hospital while other emergency services worked to extinguish the blaze.
