HBO Spain airs ‘wrong’ episode of Game of Thrones five days early

THERE will be red faces at HBO España  after the television broadcaster aired an hour of an upcoming episode five days before its scheduled date of Sunday, 20 August.

Season 7’s episode 6 was also available on HBO España’s website for a few hours before the mistake was realised. 

A Reddit user named The Slayer  posted a screenshot online that depicts Jon Snow and Tormund walking beyond the Wall in their quest to capture a white walker and also uploaded two minutes of video. 

More clips, that have since been removed, were also posted on YouTube.

The HBO error comes soon after a hack that led to 1.5 terabytes of data being stolen from its servers, and an online leak of Game of Thrones season 7 episode 4 before its scheduled broadcast.
