SPEED CAMERAS are going to be reintroduced to a motorway in Mijas.
Spain’s Traffic Department (DGT) announced the return of the two devices along the A-7 scheduled for the second week of June.
In 2015, they were the two most active cameras in the country, with one handing out 27,552 fines and the other close behind with 26,721.
The cameras had been de-activated due to repair work carried out on the structures they were attached to.
DGT has said they hope the re-activation of the devices will help drivers keep to the 80kmh speed limit, making the roads a safer place.
