POLICE in Jamaica are investigating the discovery of more than half a million US dollars worth of drugs on a ship that arrived from Valencia, Spain last week.
The 75.35 kilos of cocaine were found in a metal cannister attached to the hull of the ship in Kingston on Sunday.
Inside the cannister the drugs were contained in 58 parcels.
Police said in a statement, “No arrest has been made in connection with the seizure. However, detectives have intensified their probe into the matter.”
