Medics arriving to treat the injured man
AS crowds watched the Semana Santa procession organised by Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the True Cross in Marbella an unfortunate accident occurred.
The statue of Christ is flanked by two characters, one a Roman Soldier and it was this statue that suddenly lost an arm which fell off and injured one of the ‘costaleros’ carrying the statue.
The young man who was slightly injured was taken to the Holy Christ Chapel where he was attended by paramedics whilst the procession continued.
