EIGHT-YEAR-OLD Adrian Hinojosa, who always wanted to be a bullfighter, has died from his incurable bone cancer.
After his father posted of his boy’s love of bullfighting on social media a small group of anti-taurinos called for the Adrian’s death.
Spanish police launched an investigation looking for the authors of the offensive messages. One had written: “Die now, die now, a sick child who wants to be cured to kill innocent and healthy herbivores who also want to live. Adrian, go die!”
A man and a woman, of 21 and 33 years, were arrested in San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa) and Valencia.
As a response Adrian’s supporters organised a bullfighting festival in Valencia to help him with his illness and raise money for cancer research.
