Nacional Police station in Marbella
TWO men who stole €880 during an armed robbery at a supermarket in Marbella centre have been tracked down and arrested by officers of the National Police in Benalmadena.
The pair who are Spanish nationals aged 30 and 33 drove up to the store and one entered and initially purchased a drink before leaving the property and returning with a gun tucked into his waistband and demanded cash from the till.
They then drove off with the money but following detailed investigations by officers, they were found to be staying in a hostel in Benalmadena and were arrested two days later and are now facing trial.
