Drugs operation links Spanish and Italian police

FOUR people have been arrested in an operation to stop an Italian crime gang producing and distributing drugs in Spain.
Two kilos of cocaine, more than 700 marijuana plants and tools for packaging were seized in the raids.
One of the men was picked up in France by customs officers as part of the operation which was carried out jointly with the Carabinieri in Rome.
Police were led to the gang after the arrest of a man in Milan who was found to have links to a property in Guadalajara.
Detectives found marijuana growing along with other drugs in the property including cocaine and hashish.
