Song and dance at La Cañada in Marbella

IT is estimated that more than 1,000 people witnessed a two-hour special entertainment at La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella organised by Barbara Fernando in aid of the Red Cross on November 26.

There were special performances by a number of musicians who volunteered their time as well as the Marbella Dance School thanks to Caterina Chisesi and the teenage jive group who performed before this large audience, with youngsters invited to join in the dancing.

Javier Moreno Perez, a director of La Cañada gave his support to the event which collected donations for the Red Cross and the whole performance was photographed by Pix Rase and recorded on video by Cyrus Fernando with Roland Quesnel and partner for transmission at a later date.
