BBC

The actor who played the immortal Spanish waiter Manuel in Fawlty Towers, Andrew Sachs, has died at the age of 86.
Battered mercilessly by his boss, John Cleese, throughout a show that was only broadcast for 12 episodes, Sachs’ catchphrase ‘Que?’ has gone down in British comedy history.
Sachs did not relish the limelight that went with his fame, preferring to stay in the background, but the widely-loved actor enjoyed a prolific career on stage, on TV and in radio.
His Fawlty Towers co-star Cleese tweeted: “I could not have found a better Manuel. Inspired.”
Little Britain´s David Walliams called him “a beautiful soul” while Sir Tony Robinson, of Blackadder fame, said he had been “a true friend and a kindred spirit.”
The Germany-born actor, was only eight when his family fled the country and came to London.
Sachs died in a nursing home after suffering with vascular dementia.
