HEADLONG: The unfortunate tourist plummeted for three floors before hitting the ground.
A 23-YEAR-OLD Irish citizen is apparently in intensive care after falling from a third floor balcony in the early hours of Friday August 5, following a night out in Marbella.
The unnamed young man is said to have suffered injuries to his face, head, and knee, after he lost his balance and tumbled several metres from a terrace outside the apartment, which he had been sharing with his girlfriend.
She told police that he had attempted to lean on a low wall while she looked for the key, but clearly misjudged the height of the protective railing as he plummeted to the floor, with police alerting paramedics after they were alerted to the scene.
No further details are available at present but the man is said to be quite seriously ill.
