PAVEMENTS and streets are becoming easier to navigate and more accessible for those with mobility difficulties thanks to work being carried out in Huercal-Overa by the council.
Streets which have received attention include Avenida Guillermo Reyna, where the pavement outside the health centre has been widened to provide better access, and locals have already said it is much better now. Various obstacles have also been removed from Adolfo Suarez public park.
Blas Sanchez, councillor for Maintenance and conservation of infrastructures and services, explained that municipal workers are carrying out jobs all over town to improve mobility and remove architectural barriers.
