BRING IT ON: Proprietors of the competing restaurants.
MIJAS has announced details of its Ruta de la Tapa, with 15 restaurants offering up their creative cuisine, plus a drink, for just €2 every Tuesday and Thursday throughout July and August.
The tried-and-tested formula involves filling in a ‘Tapaporte’ with a stamp from each establishment visited, which can then be handed in at the town’s tourism office, with a free ticket to the Aqua Park and promotional t-shirt on offer in exchange.
Free live music will also be available on the same evenings, while visitors from elsewhere can take advantage of all-day parking for the bargain price of €1.
