A letter from some young readers in Javea

The Euro Weekly News was thrilled to receive the following letter from a group of second year students in Javea, which just goes to show that EWN is a paper for all ages and cultures! Good luck to all of these bright young boys and girls.

Dear Letters Editor,

It would be wonderful if you could publish the following letter and photograph from the second year ESO students who attend the Practical English class in the IES No.1 Instituto (High School) in Jávea. I teach them in this class every week (together with their full time English teacher Isabel Borrell Cholbi) and we often use the Euro Weekly News as a basis for the lesson. There are 11 students in the class; all are intelligent, keen and full of fun and energy. They have planned and composed this letter themselves!

The photo of the class members is attached and here is the text of their letter:

Dear Sir,

We are students at the Instituto IES Núm.1 in, Xàbia. We are studying in the second year of ESO. We are all learning English and we have eight hours of English every week.
We are writing because we love the English-Spanish crossword in your newspaper. We complete this crossword every week in our class. We would like to have more English-Spanish puzzles in your newspaper. We hope that you can publish some more for us, please.
We love your newspaper! Thank you very much.

Best wishes from the second year Practical English class, IES Núm.1, Xàbia
