SPORTING EVENTS: Tourists will be able to enjoy this summer’s sporting events whilst on holiday in Mallorca.

THIS summer’s events of the UEFA EURO 2016 and the Summer Olympics in Brazil will have no negative impact regarding bookings to Mallorca.

According to President of the Hotel Association of Playa de Palma Francisco Marin, there will be no problem this year of a reduction of bookings due to the events as has happened in the past because European tourists have opted to follow their favourite teams while enjoying their holidays on the island.

Marin pointed out that tourist establishments have prepared in advance so that clients will be able to relax and watch their favourite football teams or sports events during their holidays.

Many hotels and restaurants around the island are getting everything ready for tourists to enjoy the upcoming UEFA EURO to be held from June 10 to July 10 by installing giant-screen televisions and offering all the services their guests may require.
