Plumes of smoke from burning bus cause worries across Marbella

AN enormous plume of smoke generated by a burning bus parked in the neighbourhood of Isdabe, which is technically just in Estepona, sparked concern among Marbella residents as some believed that a building in Puerto Banus was on fire.

The fire started in the early morning of Tuesday April 26, on the side of the district closest to San Pedro de Alcantara but the cause of the blaze is unknown and happily no injuries have been reported.

The column of smoke was huge, intense and visible from many places along the coast. It caused something of a stir on various social networks.

According to Estepona emergency services who attended the fire, the bus has been completely destroyed.
