The Chief Minister during his Cadiz visit.
THE Chief Minister, The Hon Fabian Picardo, QC MP, as part of his ‘outreach’ to neighbouring towns and cities, paid an official visit to Cadiz on April 19, where he first met with the President of the Diputacion de Cadiz, Doña Irene Garcia of the PSOE.
Mr Picardo and Mrs Garcia are understood to have discussed matters of mutual interest and cooperation between the Cadiz Province and Gibraltar. A joint press conference was due to take place after the meeting and it is assumed that the meaning of the badge saying ‘I’m In’ only referred to the matter of the Brexit.
During his stay in Cadiz, the Chief Minister also took the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on the Mayor of Cadiz, Don Jose Maria Gonzalez of the Podemos Party.
