TECH fans, gadget lovers and anyone who sleeps with their iPhone under their pillow would do well to tune into a very special event today as Apple launches its 2016 keynote on March 21. New products, ideas and innovations will finally move from rumour to reality as the defining company of the 21st century makes its annual address to its devotees.

The Apple event begins with the famous keynote speech today March 21 at 10am California time. That means that anyone curious about following the revelations live can do so from 6pm in Spain or 5pm in the UK. You can do so through Apple’s website or keep up with the Euro Weekly News for any crucial information.

The keynote is the traditional prologue to Apple showing off its brand new product range and updates and, with huge strides being made in the technological sector this year, all eyes are on Apple.

Speculation has been rife but it does not seem likely that the much anticipated iPhone 7 will be announced this spring. However, two other products have been awash with attention.

An iPhone SE is definitely on the cards which boasts a small, slick, four inch screen for those looking for more flexibility and comfort. Meanwhile a new iPad Air 3 is rumoured to be pencilled in for a debut featuring key specs of the iPad Pro.

When noon strikes California we’ll certainly have more answers, while it’s a busy week ahead for Apple who must also contend with the FBI over the encryption of terror suspects’ phones.
