THERE are many reasons why people buy property in Spain, the weather, food, prices, as an investment, or a mixture of these reasons.
Many opt to buy a home which can be rented to other holidaymakers for part of the year. These tend to be situated around the most popular tourist resorts, such as Malaga or the Balearic Islands.
It’s not just the coast, business people often select property in or around one of the major cities. The business zones of Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia remain strong. There are even people who find it easier and cheaper to live in Spain and commute within Europe for work.
Larger towns and cities also have Fibre optic or broadband internet making remote working while living the Spanish dream a possibility.
