Light aircraft crashes near to Jerez de la Frontera

ONE person is reported to have died and another was injured in the crash of a light aircraft at the fairly remote Trebujena Airfield at just after midday on January 15.

According to police reports the crash occurred as the aircraft was taking off and it appears that it was registered to the local flight school.  Members of the fire brigade, local police and Guardia Civil attended in addition to emergency paramedics.
