Nick Knowles and wife have split

SOTOGRANDE resident and TV presenter Nick Knowles and his wife of three years Jessica Moor have announced that they are to split after moving to Spain in 2015.

52-year-old Knowles, best known as presenter of DIY SOS and National Lottery Who Dares Wins, married Jessica Moor, also a TV presenter in 2012, and they have a son Edwin who was born in August 2014.

The presenter has three children from his first marriage and has suffered from some poor health including being diagnosed with tuberculosis in 2007, but, after rupturing an artery in his sinus in late 2014, diagnosed as due to stress, the family relocated to Spain in early 2015 in order to enjoy a more peaceful and healthy lifestyle.

Whilst there are no details of the reasons for their separation, the couple issued a joint statement to Mirror Newspapers on January 11 simply stating “It is with sadness that we announce we are separating. Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son Eddie.”

At this stage, it is not known whether either or both will remain in Spain or return to the UK.
