Learn Spanish, Study in Malaga

A group of language teachers from Japan, China, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Russia, the UK and Holland, have been on a visit to the province as part of a familiarisation trip organised by Fedele association in collaboration with Turespaña, the Cervantes

Institute and Tourism Costa del Sol.

As most of the group had not been to Malaga before they were given a special presentation on language tourism in the area and introduced to the Hola! Learn Spanish, Study in Malaga promotional campaign before being taken to see the main attractions.

Language tourists who come to Malaga, according to statistics, tend to be middle and upper class, come mostly from Germany (33.3 per cent), Sweden (20.4 per cent) and Holland (10.09 per cent) and spend quite a long time in the area.

The students, aged between 18 and 35, are mostly women (71 per cent) who stay with Spanish families (41 per cent), in flats (22 per cent) or residences (20 per cent).
