ANALYSIS: Shows how area has changed.
A BOOK on the financial and demographic past and present of Cuevas del Almanzora was held at the local town hall.
The book, written by Dutchman Johan Martin Gerard Kleinpenning was presented at the town hall by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Indalecio Modesto.
The book deals with the period from 1964 to 2014 and deals especially with the drought which the southeast of Spain suffered in that era. The second part is a detailed analysis of the geographic, financial and demographic situation in the first years of the 21st century. The book aims to show how the town has changed over the years.
