SYMBOLIC: Protestors carried green hearts and balloons.
LA HERRADURA held its own march on Sunday (November 29) to coincide with Global Climate Marches taking place all over the world.
Wearing green, people from La Herradura and Almuñecar gathered at La Caleta beach, opposite Los Fenicios hotel, where a giant heart was drawn in the sand for them to stand inside.
Later the group marched along the beach as far as the El Castillo area carrying symbolic hearts and green balloons.
Their purpose was to convince world leaders, due to meet in Paris the following day, of the need to push for 100 per cent clean energy and put an end to pollution of the planet.
