ESTEPONA is prettying itself up for Christmas with 3,500 plants and 10 per cent more lights planned.
The main streets and districts will be decorated with 210 arches of lights and lamp post ornaments, which will be turned on at 7pm on November 27.
The council has announced that the Botanical and Orchid Gardens will be a focal point of the Xmas lighting with surprising display and San Luis castle and streets around Las Flores square will also be lit up.
Altogether 2,500 poinsettias and 1,000 cyclamens will also be planted across the town’s parks and gardens in keeping with the Christmas theme.

they do make me angry theses town halls one minute they have no money the next thing is there blowing it away. they must try and save a bit and pay all their bills and so on. it was only a year or so, they were in deep trouble, or are they still.
