Bunyola.
THE mother of a young man, who died from electrocution when he touched a lamppost during festivities in Bunyola, has said that a plaque in his memory at the local cemetery has been removed.
She reported to the Local Police that the flowers they had left for him had also been thrown to the floor and stamped on.
The family was informed by the town hall’s Councillor for the Environment that the plaque had been removed.
His mother suspects that the culprits are supporters of the Partido Popular who, she said, lost the elections due to the scandal over his death.
