AFTER nearly 24 hours of speculation concerning the identity of the man who died during the raid on the apartment in St-Denis, the French prosecutor’s office confirmed at noon on November 19 that Abdelhamid Abaaoud the ringleader behind the Paris attacks is the man killed in the raid on St-Denis yesterday.
His body has been formally identified at the Rue de Corbillon in the Paris suburb, using skin samples according to the prosecutor.
There is still no news of the whereabouts of Salah Abdeslam although Spanish authorities have reportedly been asked by the French to keep alert to any entry from France of a Citroen Xsara registration AE113SY in which he may have been travelling
