BOILERS worth €300,000 which Adra council have reported missing from the municipal swimming pool are to cost tax-payers money as the Andalucian High Court has ordered the council to pay up for them.
The case was taken to court after the council refused to pay Caditel company for the boilers it had installed on the premises before they opened, claiming that they were faulty.
Now, PSOE spokeswoman Teresa Piqueras has asked the council to explain what happened to the boilers, as they have been found to not be the ones currently in place meaning tax-payers are going to end up having to pay not only for the original boilers, which have mysteriously disappeared, but also for repairs to the faulty ones that are on site.
