STAR LEGEND: This will be the third time the liner has visited Almeria port this year
LUXURY liner Star Legend will be calling into Almeria first thing on Friday morning (October 30) the port authorities have announced.
This will be the third time this year that the cruise liner comes for a visit as part of its Spanish Serenade eight-night tours which also visit Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Gibraltar, Sevilla and Portimau and Lisbon in Portugal.
Sailing under a Nassau-Bahamas flag, the ship carries 212 passengers and 124 crew members and is part of luxury Windstar Cruises, which has been named as the best small cruise company in the world by Conde Nast Travelers.
Although this is the last time the luxury ship, formerly called Seabourn Legend, is due to visit this year, there are another five cruise liners due to call into port in what remains of 2015, the port authority has confirmed.
