CANADIAN travel agents have been on a trip to La Herradura and Almuñecar to discover what the area has to offer tourists.
The visit, organised by the Spanish Tourist Office in Toronto, brought 10 travel agents to the area on Sunday (October 18), Tourism Councillor Rafael Caballero reported.
Accompanied by an Air France representative, the agents visited Almuñecar and La Herradura and had the chance to meet local tourism-related business-owners.
“This familiarisation trip is part of the various promotion projects run by Almuñecar Tourism Department in collaboration with Andalucian Tourism and the Granada Provincial Tourism Department,” Caballero explained.
